The Reedy River Jazz & Wine Festival (in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas)
The Ronald McDonald House is proud to put together an event that will bring our community together, Greenvilles First Jazz Festival. The Reedy River Jazz and Wine Festival will stimulate interest in and promote awareness of jazz in the Upstate complimented by food and wine. The event will support the ongoing critical and increased needs of the growing number of hospitalized children and their families from the Upstate and beyond our borders that the Ronald McDonald House cares for on a daily basis. The Reedy River Jazz & Wine Festival will take place on Friday, April 30th at Larkin's on the River / Peace Center Amphitheatre. Tickets are $40 per person or $25 for students (with school ID) and includes entrance to the event, wine tastings from 5 different vendors representing wines from around the world, food by Larkin's on the River and The Melting Pot, and coffee tastings by Liquid Highway. The festival starts at 4pm (gates 3:30pm) with music going until 10pm. See the full list of Jazz Artists performing in the festival below. The 2010 Ronald Cup Public Golf Tournament
You are invited to join the Ronald McDonald House for their 2010 Ronald Cup Public Tournament! Everyone had a blast last year and this year we guarantee will be no exception! This year's tournament will take place on Thursday, May 6th at the Embassy Suites Golf Resort & Conference Center in Greenville, SC. We have spaces for the 1st 32 teams (128 individuals) to register and a whole day & evening of fun in-store for our golfers. The cost to participate is $225 per individual golfer, or $800 per team of 4 and every golfer will receive a Golfer Gift Package, an OOBE Tournament Polo Shirt, Box Lunches, and Drinks on the course. Every golfer will also get to participate in "Side" Games (Hole-in-One, Longest Drive, & Closest-to-the-Pin) for opportunities to win $5000, a Trip to Hawaii, and other incredible prizes! As well, a new addition to this year's tournament, every registered golfer will get to attend our Exclusive 19th Hole Party that evening after the tournament! BMW Charity Pro-Am Tournament to Support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas
Do you love Golf? What about Celebrities? Parties? Maybe supporting Charity too? If any of these are true, then be sure to join us for the 10th Annual BMW Charity Pro-Am Tournament hosted by the PGA's Nationwide Tour! The BMW Charity Pro-Am is largest Charitable Golf Tournament on the PGS's Nationwide Tour. The event pairs 168 Nationwide Tour Professionals with 168 Amateur & Celebrity contestants together for one of the most unique golf tournaments on the Nationwide Tour. The tournament is held over 4 days at 3 different courses; Thornblade Club, Carolina Country Club, & Bright's Creek Golf Club. Every year many great & big name celebrities join in playing in the tournament, and this year is no exception. Some of the confirmed celebrity golfers this year include: actors Kurt Russell, Oliver Hudson, Patrick Warburton and Gary Valentine; Clemson University Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney; CNN news and weather anchor Rob Marciano; musicians Pat Green, Javier Colon and Steve Azar; and NFL Super Bowl champion Kordell Stewart. There are several ways to be involved via Patron Passes, Volunteering, and even playing in the tournament itself! If you would like to see the tournament, General Admission Patron Credentials are $25 each and allow access to all 3 courses during all 4 days of the tournament. 100% of sales from the Patron Passes go to the Charity that you purchase from, so please be sure to buy them from the Ronald McDonald House! There is also the opportunity to volunteer for the tournament. This is a USGA Handicap Scoring event. $3,000 of every team's entry fee will go directly to their charity of choice from the BMW Pro-Am Charity list. Riding with Ronald
Riding with Ronald is an annual fundraising bicycle ride for cyclists of all levels. A Palmetto Peloton Project event, the ride is held by and in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas, based in Greenville, SC. The event's purpose is to help bring awareness to and encourage exercise and healthy life styles for families and individuals. The event is for riders of all skill levels and is open to the general public. Our featured main ride is the Family Ride which is a 6.2 mile ride in which families ride along with Ronald McDonald himself and are escorted along the entire route front and back by Greenville City Police Officers. Halfway through the ride, families will pause for a break where Ronald McDonald will have a show for all the children! We also offer 2 other rides for more experienced riders. These will be a 100K ride and a 43K ride. The cost to participate is $25 for adults and $15 for children 15 & under. All rides will begin and end next to the McDonald's restaurant located at 3 Cannon Dr, Greenville, SC. This is the McDonald's located across from the Greenville Hospital System's main campus on Grove Rd. Registration and check-in begins at 7:30am. The 100K starts at 8:30am, the 43K at 8:45am, and the Family Ride at 9am. All registrants will receive an event T-shirt, water bottle, and entry into the Bike Raffle, S.A.G. Support, and S.A.G. stop refreshments. If not registered by May 7th, we cannot guarantee that an event T-shirt or water bottle will be available.
