Greater Greer Chamber Names Small Business of the Quarter
June 14, 2016
(Greer, SC) The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce named Concrete Connection Inc., as the Small Business of the Quarter at the June First Friday Luncheon.
““We are honored to recognize Concrete Connection for their many successes. They are a great business and great people alike. We are lucky to have great family businesses like theirs here in Greer,” said Chamber President/CEO Mark Owens.
From their nomination: “Concrete Connection was formed in November of 2007, less than 12 months before the beginning of the Great Recession. Prior to starting Concrete Connection, Keith had never owned his own business, and took a leap of faith that has led to one of the most successful commercial concrete companies in the Upstate. The business has grown exponentially in recent years and now includes 35 employees, and an impressive resume. From local schools and colleges, to the Riverwalk at the Peace Center and the One Building on Main Street in downtown Greenville, Keith and Concrete Connection’s commitment to excellence and doing the job right has earned him the reputation of being one of the best concrete guys in the Upstate. Through his successful business operation, the owners have remained active in the Greer Community. You can often find them at community events, and this spring, they donated the concrete work needed to install an outdoor cooler for Greer Relief, as a part of the Leadership Greer class 36 project, “Nourishing Neighbors.”
The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, non-profit organization that represents approximately 700 businesses in the Greer area.
