Greer Chamber Hires New Intern

(Greer, SC)- The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce has hired Miya Walker as the organization’s new summer intern. The summer intern will assist office staff in various ways including administrative support, membership retention, office organization and marketing.
Miya is a rising senior at James F. Byrnes High School and is involved in extracurricular activities including the Marching Band, the Yearbook Staff and the Broadcasting Staff. She has also been named to the National Honor Roll, and Who’s Who Among American High School Students. She will participate in the upcoming Richard W. Riley’s Emerging Public Leaders program in July.
