The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce, Greer Memorial Hospital and King Consulting welcome Greg Boone, Executive Director of Look Up Lodge Camp, to its First Friday Luncheon on April 5 at 11:30 am. One of the most requested former First Friday Luncheon speakers; Boone will address the topic of Lifeonomics. Using the clever illustration of a dining room table, Boone will parallel how a successful business is really no different than a successful life. The Luncheon will be held at Greer City Hall, 301 East Poinsett Street. Cost is $10 for Chamber members, $15 for non-members and registration is required at www.greerchamber.com.
Look Up Lodge is a non-profit non-denominational Christian camp serving church groups from all across the Southeast. Under Boone’s leadership, Look Up has seen an average annual growth of 20% for the past 15 years. As Executive Director, Boone oversees the successful management of over 11,000 guests annually.
“Last year, Mr. Boone's presentation was well received and a lot of people asked for him to return,” states Allen Smith, President and CEO of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce. “We have answered that call and look forward to welcoming him back to the First Friday Luncheon series.”
Leadership Greer Class XXXIII will also be holding a Paper Drive at the April First Friday Luncheon. Bring one of the following items to the luncheon to donate for local Greer non-profit organizations as part of the Leadership Greer 2012-2013 Class Project. Items needed: Styrofoam Plates, Plastic Cups, Napkins, Plastic forks, spoons, and knives, Reams of paper. Monetary donations are also welcome.
