Leadership Greer Alumni Association Announces Second Phase for the Brick Project at Greer City Park

(Greer, SC) The Leadership Greer Alumni Association and Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce have announced the second phase for the brick project at Greer City Park. The bricks will form a unique path to the new Amphitheatre at the City of Greer Municipal Complex in downtown Greer. All proceeds from the sale of bricks will go towards the creation of a J. Verne Smith Memorial on the complex grounds.
Bricks are $35 for a 4x8 which holds up to 3 lines of text with 20 characters each or $60 for an 8x8 which holds up to 6 lines of text with 20 characters each.
“The brick project was a class project from Leadership Greer Class XXVII and after much demand from the community the Leadership Greer Alumni Association and Chamber of Commerce have decided to do a second phase with the project. We wanted to give everyone in the community the opportunity to have their name at the City Park,” states Chamber President John Kimbrell.
The Second Phase of the Brick Project will end on Friday, September 4, 2009.
