LEADERSHIP GREER CLASS XXIX HOSTS COMMUNITY BINGO

(Greer, SC)  Leadership Greer Class XXIX  is working to “Keep Greer Warm” this winter and providing the community with a fun, family friendly way to help out! Leadership Greer Class XXIX will be hosting a Community Bingo event on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 3:00-6:00pm. The event will be held at The Cottages at Brushy Creek Community Building, located at 101 Cottage Creek Circle, Greer, SC 29650.  There is no cost to attend but you must have a Bingo card to enter the Bingo Hall. Bingo cards are $1.00 for one card or $10.00 for twelve (12) cards. There will be snacks and drinks available for purchase as well.

This Community Bingo event will feature guest callers from the three organizations that the “Keep Greer Warm” project is benefiting as well as community leaders. These callers are: Randy Kemp from Greer Community Ministries, Lyn Turner from Middle Tyger Community Center, Caroline Robertson from Greer Relief and Resources Agency, City Administrator Ed Driggers, Mayor Rick Danner, and Police Chief Dan Reynolds.

There are tons of great prizes to win including a one night romantic weekend stay with complimentary champagne, a vase with a single rose, and a box of chocolates at The Hampton Inn and Suites in Duncan, SC. There are also restaurant gift cards, gift cards to local retailers, a digital camera, and many more.

Bring your family, have some fun and win some great prizes all while benefiting a great cause! All proceeds from this event will go towards the purchase of blankets, coats, heaters and other items needed to “Keep Greer Warm” this winter and will be distributed to Greer Relief and Resources Agency, Greer Community Ministries and Middle Tyger Community Center.
