City of Greer Presents Greater Greer Chamber with Proclamation

A Proclamation was presented to the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce by the City of Greer recognizing February 2012 as "Cities Mean Business Month." The proclamation was given by Mayor Rick Danner to Allen Smith, President/CEO of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce and John Mansure, Administrator of Greer Memorial Hospital and Chairman of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce on February 14.
The Proclamation reads "Be it therefore resolved that the Greer City Council affirms on this day, February 14, 2012, its dedication to the businesses that operate in this city and its commitment to the economic success and competitiveness of South Carolina by proudly declaring February 2012 as "Cities Mean Business" month."
“Building and fostering a vibrant business community, requires a focused and unified effort. In Greer, we may have challenges, but unified leadership isn’t one of them. I’m honored, on behalf of the Chamber, to continue our relationship with the City of Greer and applaud their leadership’s attentiveness to the business community,” stated Allen Smith, President/CEO of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce.
