Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce's November 5 First Friday Luncheon to Feature Economic Forecast Emphasis

The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce’s First Friday luncheon series sponsored by Coldwell Banker Caine will feature an Economic Forecast by one of Furman’s top economics professors. Keynote speaker will be Kailash Khandke, Assistant Academic Dean for Study Away & International Education & Professor of Economics at Furman University.
Kailash Khandke joined the Furman economics faculty in 1995. His teaching interests include international trade, macroeconomics, and economic growth and development with a particular specialization in the economies of Asia. Besides his involvement with the interdisciplinary Asian Studies program at Furman, Professor Khandke is also the Assistant Dean for Study Away and International Education. Excellent in the classroom, Professor Khandke was awarded the Alester G. Furman, Jr. and Janie Earle Furman Award for Meritorious Teaching in 2007.
Coldwell Banker Caine is the First Friday Presenting Sponsor of the Year and Greer Memorial Hospital is the November sponsor.
