Greer Chamber to Launch Community Commerce Convention in June

May 7, 2009

Get Involved!

The Community Commerce Convention will prove to be a great addition and benefit to our Chamber programs as a whole.  This conference will be structured to have something to offer everyone who is in business in the Greater Greer area. From entrepreneurs, women in business and small business finance to management skill development, the Convention will cover it all.  The Convention will consist of a main room with different vendor booths set up for breaks but will be structured to host a group seminar followed by multiple breakout sessions.  These breakout sessions will be designed to target many different aspects of business and create learning experiences for the participants.
The Annual Small Business Award Luncheon will be a part of this convention and will be expanded to include the G.R.O.W. Outstanding Woman Award along with the Annual Small Business of they Year award.

There will be four breakout rooms during each breakout session that will feature knowledgeable and qualified speakers to participate in panel discussions or seminars covering a wide range of topics.  The topics are designed to help small business owners, employees of a business, sales professionals, and entrepreneurs to gain information and insight to help them succeed in their profession.

The convention will also feature an exhibit area for local businesses to showcase their products or services.  The cost of a booth is only $200 for Chamber members and $250 for non-members. That includes lunch and access to the breakout topics.  For more information and to download applications please visit or contact Mark Owens at 864-877-3131 or by email at
