Leadership Greer Class XXVII Graduates

May 16, 2008

(GREER, SC) On Tuesday, May 6, the Greer Chamber of Commerce brought to culmination 28 years of successful leadership in the Greer community by graduating 31 members from its Leadership Greer program.

This year’s class was one of the largest groups in Leadership Greer history. The class was from many different businesses and professional backgrounds. Their class project, Volunteer Greer, was a huge success. In addition to Volunteer Greer, they presented $400 for a Leadership Greer scholarship for next year.  They also collected a $500 donation from Mitsubishi Polyester Film to present for a Junior Leadership Greer College scholarship and they presented a $500 donation to the American Cancer Society in honor of one of their classmates, who is a cancer survivor.
