Sponsors Announced for the 5th Annual Greer Station Oktoberfest!

The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Greer State Bank will be the Title sponsor for the Greer State Bank Greer Station Oktoberfest presented by Spaten in downtown Greer: Saturday, October 2nd!

We are therefore pleased to continue the support of the good work of our Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce though the sponsorship of this event."
This downtown event is the most unique event in the upstate as it features only the best German music, German foods, and German beer. Traditional lederhosen and dirndl, the authentic dress, is always encouraged at this event.
This year’s event will also feature the Founders Federal Credit Union Wine Valley, the Exigent Biergarten, and the Davenport Wine Tasting. The Sauerkraut n’ Sausage Sponsors include: America’s Satellites, Dixie Home Crafters, Keith Smith Builders, Langford Electric,LLC, and West Chase Apartments. Pretzel sponsors include: Allen Tate Realtors, Costco Wholesale, Greer CPW, Darrah Family Chiropractic, D & D Motors, the Greer Development Corporation, and Rodl Langford de Kock LLP. Pepsi is the official soft drink of the festival.

The Chamber is still seeking participation from local restaurants for the Greer Oktoberfest. Bratwurst, knockwurst, sauerkraut, potato pancakes, soft pretzels, cream puffs, potato salad, schnitzel, Rueben sandwiches, and sausage with peppers and onions are just some of the foods the event is seeking to feature. “We like to encourage restaurants to get an application and participate because this is a great community event that they won’t want to miss,” stated Dana Martin with the Greer Chamber. Restaurants are encouraged to visit www.greerchamber.com to download an application. Applications are due by September 1.
